Minsu Minsu Guesthouse, Jeju: A Quiet, Women-Only Stay Experience
If you are a female traveler seeking a quiet and comfortable rest during your trip to Jeju, consider Minsu Minsu Guesthouse, located in Jeju City Hallim. This guesthouse is perfect for those who prefer a no-party accommodation, are looking for a ‘Gwideok Golbang’ (a cozy room for solo drinking), or want a place not too far from Jeju Airport. Its status as a women-only guesthouse is a significant advantage.
Convenient Access and Non-Contact Check-in
Minsu Minsu Guesthouse is situated at Jeju Province Jeju City Hallim Gwideok-ri 2nd floor, and can also be found at 5903-6 Iljuseo-ro, 2nd floor. After booking and payment confirmation, you will receive instructions via text message. On the day of arrival, you will receive another text with check-in details, allowing for a convenient non-contact entry. This is particularly appealing for solo travelers.

Clean and Cozy Interior Facilities
You can identify the guesthouse’s location when you see the ‘Dorureu Gimbap’ sign. Upon entering with the password provided via text, you will see directional signs. Gimbap, available for breakfast, can be purchased at ‘Dorureu Gimbap’ on the first floor. The shared shower facilities are also located on the first floor.

Upon entering, you will find a sink and hairdryer on the left. To the right are the toilet and shower, which can only be used by one person at a time, so some coordination may be necessary. Ascending to the second floor reveals a quiet and clean accommodation space with a wood-toned interior. There is also a bathroom on the second floor, allowing for convenient use without having to go down to the first floor. The spacious bathroom adds to the comfort.

Individual Rooms and Amenities
Towels are available next to a shelf equipped with a sink and various amenities. The common living area has mirrors for checking your appearance before going out, and the wooden full-length mirror is particularly eye-catching as an interior decoration item.

Room 6, which I was assigned, is separated only by a blind rather than a door, so soundproofing is not to be expected. I had to use earplugs due to the snoring of the guest in the next room. However, the interior of the room is cozy and comfortable, with a single bed, a desk, and a hand mirror, allowing for simple makeup within the room. There are also plenty of hangers provided.

Instead of ceiling lights, there are stand lights installed, and it is convenient to turn them on and off while lying in bed. The stand lights are adjustable, allowing for a soft brightness without glare. While quietness can sometimes be a bit much, the fact that it is women-only and its location in the Hallim area are quite attractive. It is a recommended accommodation for solo female travelers, offering a simple breakfast option. However, those who are very sensitive to sound may need to consider it carefully.
