Da Nang 3 Nights 5 Days Trip: Creating Unforgettable Memories

From August 1st to August 5th, 2025, an unforgettable 3-night, 5-day journey unfolded in Vietnam Da Nang. Culinary exploration in Nha Go Viet, beauty experiences at Tao Eyelash, relaxation at Naman Retreat Resort, the spectacular show at Yongdary Bridge, the vibrancy of Son Tra Night Market, the sweetness of Pink Mango 2, and the romance of My Khe Beach – all these moments enriched the Da Nang trip.

Day 1: Into the Charm of Hoi An

The journey began at Belle Rive Hoi An Hotel & Spa in Hoi An Hoi An. The morning at this hotel, located at 33 Lê Đại Hành, Cửa Đại, Hội An, Quảng Nam, was a bit different from expectations. The window seats lacked air conditioning, making it somewhat hot, and while the breakfast with pho and fish cakes was a bit disappointing, the omelets and dragon fruit were satisfying. After checking out, we revisited White Orchid Spa (52b Mạc Đĩnh Chi, Street, Hội An, Quảng Nam 56000). The free pick-up and drop-off service was still excellent, and this time we enjoyed the coolness of a Thai massage. However, the long waiting time for the drop-off due to overlapping checkout times was a minor disappointment.

Day 2: Culinary Exploration and Beauty Experience in Da Nang

After finishing our activities in Hoi An, we moved to Da Nang. Lunch was a generous meal at Nha Go Viet (49 Nguyễn Thái Học, Hải Châu, Đà Nẵng 550000), famous among Korean tourists. We showed our enthusiasm by ordering six dishes for two people: beef pho, bun cha, stir-fried eggs, morning glory, banh xeo, and a fried set. We were reassured about potential stomach issues from the water by checking the characteristic hole in the center of the edible ice cubes. After the meal, we visited Tao Eyelash (125 Trưng Nữ Vương, Phước Ninh, Hải Châu, Đà Nẵng 550000) for a V-beauty experience. While the 11mm eyelashes were initially daunting, we got used to them over time, and next time we plan to try the classic style.

Day 3: Luxurious Relaxation at Naman Retreat Resort

Our third accommodation was Naman Retreat Resort (Trường Sa, Road, Đà Nẵng, 550000). While the facilities were excellent, its distance from the city center made transportation inconvenient, which was a drawback. It’s recommended for family trips or staycations, but for other purposes, careful consideration is advised. Having to use a tuk-tuk for transportation within the large resort was also bothersome. However, the upgraded room was very satisfactory, and we enjoyed small pleasures like welcome cookies and spotting geckos. The main pool, connected to the resort’s private beach, offered a particularly beautiful night view, creating unforgettable memories. Nevertheless, caution is needed regarding staff behavior when clearing luggage after pool hours. Fortunately, our lost belongings were recovered.

Day 4: Fire Show at Yongdary Bridge and the Sweetness of Pink Mango

We headed to Son Tra Night Market (5 Lý Nam Đế, An Hải Trung, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000) to watch the Yongdary Bridge fire show, which only takes place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. While waiting for the Yongdary Bridge show, we enjoyed coconut juice and banh mi at the night market. The fire show, which started at 9 PM, lasted only 10 minutes with 5 minutes of fire and 5 minutes of water, leaving us feeling a bit anticlimactic, but the atmosphere was intense. After the show, we rushed to Pink Mango 2 (153 Hồ Nghinh, Phước Mỹ, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 55000 Vietnam), strongly recommended by my sister, to try the mango shaved ice. Arriving just before the last order, we managed to taste the mango shaved ice, which was more delicious than expected. It was interesting that the place was only labeled in Korean.

Last Day: The Romance of My Khe Beach and Lingering Sadness

We moved to My Khe Beach (My Khe Beach, Da Nang 550000), a 5-minute walk from Pink Mango 2. We spent the last night of our trip enjoying the Vietnam-Korea festival at a pub with a DJ party. We were impressed by the MC’s fluent Korean skills and enjoyed beers in a lively atmosphere. We relaxed and eased the fatigue of our trip listening to Korean songs at the Ocean Lounge Bar (369W+Q9G, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000), located near the end. After a brief, fun time with dancing frogs, we returned to our accommodation for the next day’s schedule. It was a great stroke of luck to find our lost luggage with the help of the assigned staff member connected via KakaoTalk during check-in. It was also beneficial to receive useful information such as massage and yoga programs, and the free shuttle.
