Dongdaemun District Dongdaemun District Jongno 5(o)-ga Handmade Burger Restaurant Double Six Burger Visit Review
Introducing Double Six Burger, a handmade burger specialty restaurant located in Jongno 5(o)-ga. This establishment uses 100% beef patties and operates without a break time, making it convenient to visit anytime. Delivery and takeout are also available, offering further convenience.

Double Six Burger is located at 1st Floor, 39 Jongno 3-gil, Jung District, Seoul Special City. The operating hours are from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with the last order at 8:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays, so please note this when planning your visit. The phone number is 0507-1489-6663.
I chose this place after contemplating lunch options near Jongnosan-ak, where I had visited previously. Seeing that the Jongnosan-ak staff were also dining here at the time, I instinctively knew it was a popular spot. (I would like to apologize again for spilling cola on a Jongnosan-ak staff member on a previous occasion.)

Double Six Burger uses fresh 100% beef patties and has the advantage of no break time, allowing for comfortable visits even during off-peak hours. The interior has about 5 tables, each seating 4 people, and smaller tables can be combined to accommodate group visits flexibly.

A self-service clearing station is available in one corner of the restaurant for customers to clear their own trays after their meal. Utensils, napkins, and water are also provided here.

Orders are placed through the in-store kiosk. I ordered the Double Shrimp Burger and the Double Six Burger, along with two drinks and side orders of chicken tenders and cheese sticks. A variety of beverages are available, including zero-sugar options, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, and even alcoholic drinks.

Each table is equipped with napkins, wet wipes, ketchup, and small paper cups for dispensing ketchup. Drinks are served with ice cups. Although it’s usually self-service for drinks, the owner kindly brought them over. I chose a zero-sugar cola.

The signature menu at Double Six Burger features a smoky beef patty combined with Double Six Burger’s special sauce. While the exact ingredients of the special sauce are not disclosed, my companion who visited with me described it as “a delicious handmade burger.”

The Double Shrimp Burger I ordered was exceptionally delicious, with a harmonious blend of plump shrimp patties and a sweet mayonnaise sauce. The owner advised me to press it down before eating, and doing so made it even easier to enjoy. However, there was a slight greasiness, typical of handmade burgers, but it was perfectly enjoyable with a cola. I would particularly recommend it to those who enjoy richer flavors.
If you suddenly crave a burger or want a simple meal, I recommend visiting Double Six Burger, a handmade burger restaurant in the Dongdaemun District.
