Da Nang 3 Nights 5 Days Trip: A Fulfilling Journey from Naman Retreat to Ba Na Hills, Hoi An
Da Nang From August 1st to 5th, 2025, a 3-night, 5-day trip to Vietnam Da Nang offered a diverse range of pleasures, from a relaxed start at Naman Retreat to the grandeur of Ba Na Hills, and a gastronomic experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant. This trip was a precious time to deeply feel the charm of Da Nang beyond mere relaxation.

On the first day of the trip, we started the day with breakfast at Naman Retreat Resort. Omelets and pho were must-have items, but the taste wasn’t quite as expected. Nevertheless, the wide variety of menu options was a plus.

Naman Retreat offers a free shuttle bus to Lotte Mart Da Nang branch, but we found out too late that advance reservation was mandatory, so we used Grab on the first day. We conveniently booked the return shuttle from the back entrance of Lotte Mart departing at 2:30 PM.

Beauty & Shopping in Ba Na Hills: Sara Nail and Elstore
On the second day of the trip, we first got a manicure at Sara.nail. I was hesitant at first because I usually avoid drill care even in Korea, but I had a satisfactory experience thanks to the friendly service and reasonable prices. The staff worked diligently and communicated well, so I felt at ease during the procedure. I used Instagram DM for reservations and even received a 10% discount as an apology for the late reply. Overall, the satisfaction for the price was very high.

After enjoying some shopping at Han Market, we visited Elstore, known as a high-end souvenir shop. It was popular among Korean tourists, and the mango coffee we tasted was so delicious that we immediately ordered three more. Since there was no mango coffee in stock, we headed to a nearby cafe, CAFE GREEN, while waiting.

Mango Dessert at Cafe Green and Transfer to Ba Na Hills
At CAFE GREEN, we ordered mango bingsu and also got drinks to go for our ride back to the accommodation. The coconut coffee smoothie was heavenly, but my companion found the red dragon fruit juice to be too healthy, which was a bit disappointing. The wait was longer than expected, and to make it to our pickup time for Ba Na Hills, we had to rush back to our accommodation and order delivery food via Grab, but we couldn’t fully enjoy it due to the tight schedule.

Unexpected issues arose during the transfer to Ba Na Hills, including contacting staff about a resort bathroom problem, but fortunately, efforts were made to resolve the issue. On the way to Ba Na Hills, I liked the pearl necklace I bought at Han Market, and the kind female driver made the journey comfortable.

Fantastic Scenery of Ba Na Hills: Golden Bridge and France Village
Upon arriving at Sun World Ba Na Hills, we took the cable car, which is the second longest in the world. The cable car was exciting with its speed, and the cool breeze made the journey comfortable without being too hot. At Golden Bridge, which had relatively fewer people as we visited in the afternoon, we took photos against the beautiful scenery. We intended to move to France Village around sunset but got a bit lost after missing the cable car operating hours information. Those visiting without a guide should definitely check the operating hours.

At France Village, we rushed to see the sights and take photos like a time attack before our visit to the Michelin-starred restaurant Antoi. The Ferris wheel, with its lights off, in the village was impressive, and it was a shame we couldn’t ride the Alpine Coaster.

Michelin-Starred Restaurant Antoi and Healing at Azit Multiplex
For dinner, we dined at the Michelin-starred restaurant Antoi. There was a wait even late at night, but the cheese scallops and cha gio, ordered as alternatives to the sold-out chili shrimp, were delicious. The morning glory was better in its original form than the Antoi signature, and the tripe pho was ordinary, but the best pho I had during the trip was the basic pho at Nago Viet. The long wait was a bit disappointing, but we were able to take photos of the restaurant interior as the last customers.

We relaxed and relieved our travel fatigue with a 90-minute massage at Azit Multiplex, located near Antoi. It was convenient that they were open late and offered a drop-off service, but an extra charge was incurred because our accommodation was far away. The massage was refreshing, and after the massage, we were touched to find fruit gifts prepared along with the resolution of the resort’s bathroom issue.

On the last day, before departing, we visited the Pink Church Da Nang(Da Nang Cathedral). We had to rush to get there as the opening hours were short, but fortunately, we were able to take photos on time. Shopping at Lotte Mart Da Nang branch was a time attack, so there aren’t many photos, but we bought famous sauces, coffee, and mango jellies. In particular, we do not recommend the Lotte Mart Choice L brand of coconut crackers as they don’t taste good, and it’s better to buy the product shown in the right photo.

The last meal at the airport was delicious despite the high price. Enjoying the beautiful clouds, we concluded all activities in Da Nang and enjoyed the lingering memories of the trip with jokbal right after returning home.
