We originally planned to visit [Park Shinwoo Noodle Workshop], which operates on a 100% reservation basis, but unfortunately, we had to turn back as we didn&#8217;t have a reservation. As it was raining, my husband suggested a great muljjolmyeon place nearby, so we immediately headed to [Park Yongja Gyeongju Myeongdong Jjolmyeon Main Branch].<\/p>\n<p>This place has been featured on various TV programs such as &#8216;The Master of Life&#8217; and &#8216;Baek Jong-won&#8217;s Top 3 Restaurants&#8217;, and it&#8217;s a local favorite frequented by residents. Many locals were seen in comfortable attire, wearing slippers, giving it a relaxed, neighborhood vibe. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we had to write our names on the waiting list and wait for our turn to be called. These factors seemed to further enhance the restaurant&#8217;s reputation. Initially, we considered ordering the Yubu Jjolmyeon or Odeng Jjolmyeon, which are broth-based, but since my husband wanted to try the Bibim Jjolmyeon, we ordered both. Shortly after ordering, we were served refreshing broth and pickled radishes. It wasn&#8217;t spicy, and the seasoning was excellent. The Yubu Jjolmyeon that followed was served in a large portion, with plenty of fried tofu, egg, and mugwort, harmonizing perfectly with the broth. The jjolmyeon noodles were softer than typical chewy jjolmyeon, making them easy to eat and feel light on the stomach. The friendly service from the staff was also impressive. It was a taste that naturally came to mind on a rainy day.
