Sapporo<\/a> 5 Nights 6 Days Trip: Productive Days 5-6 from Shiroi Koibito Park to \uc2a4\uc2a4\ud0a4\ub178<\/a><\/h2>\n

The last two days of our 5-night, 6-day trip to Sapporo<\/a> were filled with sweet desserts, beautiful scenery, and delicious food. This journey, from July 1st to 6th, offered a variety of experiences, from the fairytale atmosphere of Shiroi Koibito Park to the romantic canal of Otaru, and the vibrant nights of Sapporo<\/a> city.<\/p>\n

Shiroi Koibito Park Filled with Sweetness<\/h3>\n

On the 5th day of our trip, we headed to Shiroi Koibito Park, which is close to Miyanazawa<\/a> Station. This theme park, with its beautiful gardens and the opportunity to see the confectionery making process firsthand, brought back the joy of childhood. After purchasing our tickets, we followed the factory tour course and watched with interest as Shiroi Koibito cookies were made. A short video featuring the president’s story added to the fun. There were several cafes and restaurants inside the factory, and we enjoyed a parfait at one of them. While the price was a bit steep, the sweet dessert was enough to melt away the fatigue of travel. When you finish your tour, there’s a souvenir shop where you can buy delicious cookies that taste like high-quality Kukdae. Outside the factory, we had a great time taking photos against the beautiful scenery at various photo zones.<\/p>\n

Otaru’s Romance and Gourmet Exploration<\/h3>\n

After about a 20-minute walk from Shiroi Koibito Park, we moved to Hassamu Station and took the JR train to Otaru. Arriving at Minami-Otaru Station and walking for about 10 minutes, we found the charming music box museum. This place, filled with music boxes of various designs, was a nice place to rest for a while, captivated by the clear and melodious sound of the music boxes. Near the music box museum was the LeTAO main store, famous for its desserts, but the long wait made us decide to eat first. After much deliberation, we visited Ramen Misora, which turned out to be an unexpected gem for ramen. The Special Miso Ramen, in particular, was amazing with its abundant toppings and rich broth.<\/p>\n

After our meal, we headed back to the LeTAO main store, but the long wait persisted, so we gave up and tried the cheese tart at Fromage Denis Dani LeTAO across the street. This cheese tart was truly a revelation, even considered more delicious than LeTAO cakes by some. It had a captivating flavor that would make even someone who doesn’t usually enjoy desserts want to buy it again.<\/p>\n

We also visited the highlight of Otaru, the Otaru Canal. Although it’s said to be more beautiful at night, we could feel the romantic atmosphere even during the day. We strolled along the canal, took photos, and had fun taking memorable pictures with a person in a flower pot costume we met along the way.<\/p>\n

Last Night in Sapporo<\/a> City<\/h3>\n

After a long day in Otaru, we returned to Sapporo<\/a> and visited Okonomiyaki Hina-chan for dinner. This place, with many reviews from Koreans, served an exceptional Udon Okonomiyaki. Even though I don’t usually enjoy okonomiyaki, the taste here was the best. After dinner, we tried our luck at the claw machine at Round1 in \uc2a4\uc2a4\ud0a4\ub178<\/a>, and to satisfy our hunger, we had takoyaki in front of Mega Don Quijote. Finally, we enjoyed shopping at Mega Don Quijote, wrapping up our travel expenses wisely.<\/p>\n

End of the Trip and Lingering Regret<\/h3>\n

On the last day of our trip, we enjoyed a simple breakfast at Karaksa Hotel and headed to New Chitose Airport. The LeTAO cake we had at the airport wasn’t quite as good as the cheese tart we had in Otaru, but it was still delicious. There were many restaurants at the airport worth queuing for, with long lines especially in front of the dessert shops. My first overseas trip with my sister was incredibly enjoyable without a single argument, and I strongly felt the desire to visit again.<\/p>\n
