Icheon<\/a> Restaurant Somunnan Kalguksu Review: Visited After Watching Tzuyang’s Mukbang<\/h2>\n

Gyeonggi Province<\/a> Icheon<\/a> Located at Seolbong-ro 58beon-gil 30, Somunnan Kalguksu was a place I had long dreamed of visiting after watching Tzuyang’s mukbang. Finally, I had the chance to taste it by coming all the way to Icheon<\/a>. I arrived just as they were opening, so luckily, there were plenty of seats. As expected of a popular restaurant, the walls were covered with autographs from famous celebrities. As soon as we placed our order, the place quickly filled up with customers.<\/p>\n

Menu Selection and Side Dishes<\/h3>\n

After looking at the menu at Somunnan Kalguksu, two of us decided to order the small size of ‘Myeon-nakji’ with medium spiciness.<\/p>\n

The kimchi and broth provided as basic side dishes were impressive. The beef bone broth, in particular, was deep and delicious, perfect for sobering up after a night of heavy drinking.<\/p>\n

Generous Portions and Spicy Flavor of ‘Myeon-nakji’<\/h3>\n

When the ‘Myeon-nakji’ we ordered arrived, it was not only visually satisfying but also had a spicy aroma that stimulated the appetite. The food came out without much of a wait, and the portion size was truly generous. It felt like it wouldn’t run out no matter how much we ate. Despite overeating that day, we still had a little food left.<\/p>\n

The medium spice level was deliciously spicy, but if you’re not good with spicy food, I would recommend the ‘slightly spicy’ option. If you enjoy spicy food, ordering the ‘spicy’ level would be good. There was a generous amount of octopus, so I highly recommend it to those who love stir-fried octopus. If you find the portion insufficient, you can add rice and mix it in, making it an excellent value for money.
