The first day’s trip, starting from Yeongdo District District in Busan, began with a visit to Piak Cafe & Bakery, which boasts a huge scale and a wonderful ocean view. However, leaving behind the disappointment of unexpectedly long parking times and congestion, we recharged our energy with takeout coffee and headed to Jagalchi Market. Here, we had an early dinner of refreshing milmyeon at Daebok Milnaengmyeon, a representative milmyeon restaurant in Busan.
Afterward, we moved to Jagalchi Market and purchased nostalgic salad bread and finger bread from BNC Bakery, a bakery with 40 years of tradition. Near BNC Bakery, we also paused briefly at Samsong Sushi, known as the oldest Japanese restaurant in Busan. We then moved to Gukje Market and visited Darijip Second Son's Branch, our favorite tteokbokki place, where we enjoyed rice tteokbokki and giant squid tempura. We wanted to try bibim dangmyeon but had to turn back due to the long waiting line.
As the final stop of our trip, we briefly explored Bosu-dong Book Alley. Walking through the alley, filled with the scent of old books and a retro vibe, brought back memories of our school days. Although many bookstores have closed, the unique atmosphere of this place, designated as a Busan Future Heritage, remains captivating.
