Suwon‘s Hidden Gem, Cafe Slowood: A Visit Review
Gyeonggi Province Suwon Paldal-gu Haenggung-dong Located at 39 Hyanggyo-ro 137beon-gil, 4th floor, Cafe Slowood was a charming spot visited during a early spring outing to Gyeonggi Province Suwon Paldal-gu. Visiting with a friend, this place was so beautiful it made us want to take photos at every turn. Although I don’t have many photos, I want to share the experience.

Cafe Slowood also has outdoor seating, but since the weather was already hot when I visited, I headed straight inside. Although it wasn’t officially open yet, I was immediately impressed as soon as I stepped inside.
As you can see from the photos I took, this place offered beautiful scenery from any angle. Many people had already come to visit, filling up even the counter seats. It was amazing how many people found their way here, despite the somewhat difficult path up the hill of Paldal Mountain.

Our group had about 7 people, and fortunately, we were able to use a group seating area despite it being the weekend. The group seats by the window, in particular, allowed us to spend time comfortably while enjoying the wonderful view.

The first 4 people to arrive each ordered coffee and a brunch plate. I was worried it might be too much before dinner, but since many in our group had skipped lunch, we ordered generously. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy a delicious meal. It was even more satisfying that 4-person plates and cutlery were provided.
The brunch plate looked great, but it tasted even better. I especially enjoyed the carrotラペ (carrot salad); even though I don’t usually like the distinct taste of carrots, I could eat it deliciously without any aversion. Overall, it was great for a light meal, and I’d recommend it as a brunch date spot. Of course, it’s also perfect to enjoy with a walk (hike) on Paldal Mountain.
The beautiful atmosphere here was so impressive that I even posted it on my Instagram story. The space decorated with lush plants was great for taking photos. The photo taken in front of the full-length mirror wasn’t entirely satisfactory, but it was a factor that made me look forward to my next visit.
It was a perfect place to meet my friend’s dog, Somang, and wrap up a beautiful outing to Haenggung-dong. Cafe Slowood is definitely a charming place I want to visit again.
