The video was shot with a wide-angle lens, so it may be a bit disorienting. It was filmed with a Galaxy S21 Ultra, and I was filled with excitement to be at the airport after a long time.
I proceeded with check-in at Vietjet Air. I originally intended to use Korean Air, but my flight was canceled, so I had to change it as a last resort. I arrived too early at 6 o’clock and had to wait for about an hour.
It was too early, so only one restaurant inside the gate was open. I ordered the octopus bibimbap as a single dish.
While waiting for boarding, I opened a ring I bought at the duty-free shop. It was really cute. 💗
My heart was pounding at this moment. Thanks to the sleep mask my sister gave me as a gift, I was able to sleep soundly on the plane.
The seats felt too cramped.

After completing immigration procedures, we waited for the pick-up vehicle from Vinpearl Resort Phu Quoc.

There were many Korean tourists in the lobby of Vinpearl Resort Phu Quoc.
We were served cucumber lime juice as a welcome drink. At first, I thought, “Is this cucumber juice…?”, but it was unexpectedly delicious.
We took a commemorative photo in front of the elevator. The flight was at 9:30 AM, but after arriving at the accommodation and checking in, it was almost 3:40 PM. We had a massage appointment at 4 PM, so we rushed through check-in.
The room condition was good. I was especially satisfied with the cleanliness of the bathroom. However, one of the standing lamps was slightly damaged.
Healing at Whale Spa
We used the pick-up vehicle provided by the resort to get to Whale Spa. If requested in advance, they will pick you up at your accommodation, and there is an additional charge of $2.

Whale Spa, famous for its massages in Phú Quốc, has two branches: one in Grand World and one at the night market in Duong Dong. This is the branch located in Grand World, and I chose the 90-minute stone massage as I was curious about it when booking from Korea. I ended up visiting this place three times during my four-day trip because I was so satisfied.
Before the massage, I filled out a short questionnaire about the areas I wanted to focus on and the type of oil I preferred. Then, starting with a foot soak, I received a relaxing massage. I felt my body, which was tired from sleeping cramped in the narrow airplane seats, being refreshed.
Exploring the Night Market at Duong Dong and Restaurants

I visited the famous Crab House, recommended by an acquaintance. It is located within the night market of Duong Dong, and it was about a 40-minute drive from Vinpearl Resort Phu Quoc.
I wish I could have asked them to pay more attention to taking photos.
My mouth watered at the sight of the delicious food. There were various flavor options, and I chose the #4 Crab House Special with the medium spice level (1 chili pepper icon). However, it wasn’t spicy at all and was delicious. I later found out that the #1 Garlic Butter is supposed to be really good.
After the meal, the water for washing my hands had a slight sheen of oil on it.
After finishing our meal, we took some commemorative photos. Most of the people wearing masks were Korean tourists.

The hot and humid weather and the crowds made me feel a bit drained. We decided to take a break and have a drink.
I couldn’t take a picture of the sign, so I don’t know the exact name, but it was the cleanest-looking cafe in the night market, with a white sign.
We ordered mango milk tea and a chocolate drink. They were delicious, but I was too full to drink much.
On the way back to our accommodation, we negotiated with a taxi driver to get to Vinpearl Resort Phu Quoc. There were so many motorcycles.
