I can’t believe the first post of my trip is a club review, I don’t know when I’ll be able to start posting about the whole trip. I’m going to start right away with my review of the largest club I visited on my Austria 빈 trip, Prater Dome!

Prater Dome is located within the famous amusement park, Prater. The photos show the entrance to the amusement park and the entrance to the club. Prater Dome opens every Friday and Saturday at 10 PM, and even though I arrived right at opening time, many people were already queuing. I was worried because I was visiting with my mother, thinking it might be only for young people, but I was relieved to see people of various ages in line.

After entering, I paid the entrance fee of 14 euros per person at the counter. The receipt and card I received are payment cards to be used within the club. There was a cloakroom, but I didn’t check the usage fee as I had no luggage.

Past the cloakroom, you’ll find bars and tables set up like a central hall. This is a separate relaxation area from the main stage, where you can freely sit in any seat you like without feeling self-conscious. Although the club opens at 10 PM, the stage doesn’t start until 10:30 PM, and many people were enjoying the relaxed atmosphere with a light drink at the bar.

Prater Dome is a non-smoking club, but there is a designated smoking terrace. The restrooms were spacious and clean, and some stalls had a unique structure that was a bit surprising. It might have felt even cleaner because it was early in the opening.

In a corner of the central hall, simple food is also sold, so you can satisfy your hunger.

Before the stage opened, I ordered a cocktail. The card received at the entrance is not for pre-payment but for settlement upon exit. It was convenient to use the card to purchase drinks or food, like in a jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouse), and pay all at once when leaving.

I ordered a White Russian, which I usually enjoy, and my mother ordered the cocktail of the day, a Blue Lady Gin. There wasn’t a separate cocktail menu, but it seemed like they could make most cocktails if you just said the name. The total price for two cocktails was 22 euros, and I paid 25 euros including a 3 euro tip.

Before the stage opened and before people started to crowd in, I explored the two stages on the first floor. This area played music with a bit of a disco feel, and I could also watch a DJ perform live mixing music.

There was also a hip-hop stage on the second floor. This is where the youngest crowd was, and I personally liked the music here the most. You can easily find it by going up the stairs on the right after entering, and all the stairs are connected, making it convenient to move around. While I was walking around taking pictures, a fellow club-goer asked to take a photo with me.

Unfortunately, I took many videos when there weren’t many people, but I had a thoroughly enjoyable time and regretted not visiting for another day. If you visit, I recommend going on Friday first, and if you like the atmosphere, consider visiting again on Saturday. I left a little after midnight to manage my condition before my flight, but even in that short time, I had a great time. I only saw about one Korean group, but I expect the atmosphere to be even more lively later in the night.
