Jeju City Nohyeong-dong Wine Bar, A Perfect Space from Brunch to Dinner
On the last day of our trip to Jeju, an unexpected change in plans led us to visit Jeju City Nohyeong-dong, a wine bar called Cheongseol Forest. This charming space offers brunch and coffee during the day, and wine and whiskey in the evening. Located at Jeju City 1st Floor, 27, Nohyeong 12-gil, Cheongseol Forest is open from 11:30 to 24:00 on Tuesdays through Saturdays, and from 11:30 to 15:00 on Sundays. It is closed on Mondays. The break time is from 3 PM to 6 PM. Inquiries can be made at 0507-1353-2784.

Nohyeong-dong Although it was still bright when we visited, the exterior promised to be even more beautiful after dark. However, the real surprise was inside. The interior of Cheongseol Forest is decorated with a surprisingly beautiful ambiance, making it an ideal place for a sophisticated time. It is especially highly recommended as a date spot.
Cheongseol Forest is currently running a special event. You can get a 1,000 won discount when you order brunch or purchase a takeout coffee, making it convenient to enjoy both a meal and coffee.

The interior design exudes a stylish and hip atmosphere. The area known as the ‘Water Jar Zone’ has a unique yet sophisticated feel, and it’s a great spot for taking memorable photos at the mirror photo zone.

A Culinary Experience with Diverse Menu and Wines
Cheongseol Forest, also known as a great brunch spot in Nohyeong-dong, boasts a diverse menu. The variety of beverages is particularly noteworthy. While contemplating pasta options for dinner, I chose the Truffle Mushroom Cream Pasta. I was concerned about the portion size as the description mentioned it came with bread, but it turned out to be a satisfying choice.

The red wine we ordered alongside was a recommendation, said to be a blend of two wines. I don’t recall the exact name, but the receipt listed it as ‘Angel Divinita’. Although the alcohol content was around 14%, which is on the higher side, it had a dry and clean taste that was exquisite.

Finally, the main dish, Truffle Mushroom Cream Pasta, arrived. The thick and rich cream sauce was exceptional, and I highly recommend this dish to anyone who enjoys creamy flavors. It paired wonderfully with the red wine, making it perfect for slow enjoyment.

As night fell, the atmosphere at Cheongseol Forest became even more romantic. I felt a sense of sophistication enjoying a glass of wine alone, savoring the leisurely time. Cheongseol Forest is a place where you can enjoy both coffee and alcoholic beverages at any time of day, making it suitable for various occasions, from chatting with friends to dating your partner. They also offer non-alcoholic cocktails, so those who don’t drink alcohol can visit without worry. I highly recommend Cheongseol Forest as a great place to eat in Jeju City Nohyeong-dong.
