Jeongmi Kkakdugi Main Branch, visited for a hangover cure near Sinnonhyeon Station, was a place where the kkakdugi lived up to its name. Not only the kkakdugi but also the main dish, galbitang, was excellent, and it was particularly satisfying with the generous amount of glass noodles. Pepper is available on each table, so you can add it to your liking. Adding plenty of pepper makes the broth spicier, perfect for a hangover.
The short ribs were very tender and easily separated from the bone, allowing for a comfortable dining experience. The kkakdugi was so delicious that we refilled it multiple times. The harmony between the sweet and sour kkakdugi and the spicy galbitang broth perfectly completed the hangover cure. Although the price is a bit high, considering the taste and atmosphere, it’s a place we would definitely revisit.
